This mild, sweet curry is a uniquely British Indian restaurant creation rather than something you’d be likely to find in Kashmir, but it’s no less delicious for that. It’s a favourite for those who love mild, creamy curries and the fruit adds a lovely sweetness and interesting texture to this rich and fragrant dish.

Fruit in a curry is a contentious issue in my family. I'm happy with it, and as I was only cooking for myself I tried this recipe. I really enjoyed it. It was sweet, mild and yes fruity!

It certainly is divisive - we're glad to hear that you enjoyed this sweet, mild, fruity curry!
