Groundnut (peanut) curry is spicerer Gifty’s favourite dish from her home country of Ghana - where the food is hearty, robust and full of flavour.

We’re topping this deliciously rich curry with banana dressed with lime juice plus fresh green chillies for some zing and heat!

Shopping List

  • 800g diced stewing beef
  • 2 medium onions - thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic - finely chopped
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 1-2 green chillies - thinly sliced (seeds removed if you prefer less heat)
  • 1 banana - thinly sliced
  • 1 lime
  • 80g peanuts (roasted and salted are fine) 
  • 200ml full fat coconut milk
