Haggis Tacos with Spicy Carrot Relish & Whisky Sour Cream

This Mexican twist on the classic Burns Night supper is a fantastic way to mark the Bard's birthday (Jan 25th)! We've added some smoky chipotle to liven up the haggis, whilst a zesty carrot relish brings some zing. There's also a whisky sour cream to help aid the celebration, and it's all served in a delicious tortilla - cheers!

Shopping List

  • 500g haggis or use veggie haggis or mince
  • 2 large carrots or ¼ large swede
  • 2 chillies (any colour)
  • 10g bunch of coriander
  • 2 limes
  • 150g sour cream
  • 1 tbsp  sugar
  • A wee dram (just a splash!) of whisky (any type) (optional)
  • 8 small tortillas or wraps to serve
  • Mashed potatoes and/or mashed swede and turnip to serve
