Spicery Food Truck Dinner

Written by: James

Last night, to celebrate the launch of our brand new Food Truck subscription, we opened our doors at the Spicery HQ to spice-lovers to enjoy a 5 course Food Truck meal. As our dining room filled with our 40 guests, Matt and Alice prepared plates in the "Food Truck".

Meanwhile, our guests started by cleansing their palates with the pale and red ales from the guys at Moor Beer, or with one of our homemade ginger lemonades.

Then came the food! First up, the popular Food Truck trend which has started on the west coast of the US: Korean Tacos! We started the evening with K.mex Tacos with a Kimchi Fried Rice, then moved onto Sichuan Chilli Noodles with a sesame and peanut sauce, spiced Mac and Cheese with a tender Goan Pulled Pork Brisket, Jerk Pork Sliders with Mango Ketchup and finally to sooth our stomachs, a refreshing Coconut ice-cream over Malaysian Rojak and peanuts.

James then led the group on a tour of the building, showing how the process of creating a spicebox turns from whole spices imported from across the world, to freshly ground and individually packed sachets of blends. A huge thanks to those who joined us last night, we loved meeting and speaking with you all! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope you did too!
