This super-easy and delicious sauce has a lovely sweet, tangy flavour profile, as well as plenty of pungent garlic and spicy chilli from the mix of dried Sichuan chillies in our LA JIAO BLEND. It goes with pretty much anything, but use sparingly!

Shopping List

  • 2 cloves of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (any type)
  • 2 tsp vinegar (rice, white wine or cider vinegar is best)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil or use sunflower or vegetable oil
