Kochi Fish Curry

Kochi (or Cochin) was one of the first trading ports for the spice trade in India and spices such as cinnamon, cardamon and pepper are still grown nearby.

Its proximity to the sea and tropical climate mean that fish and coconut are staple foods - both feature in this fish curry, which is typical to the area.
