Manakish are like Middle Eastern pizzas, and you can flavour them with all sorts of toppings! Here we’ve got 2 versions - the first contains our SUMAK BLEND and sesame seeds for a mix similar to za’atar, whilst the second is a spicy chilli BIBER BLEND one. You can also enjoy them plain or use halloumi, spinach or lamb mince.

  • 400g plain flour
  • 1 tsp dried yeast (½ a standard-size sachet)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

 

Enjoy plain or choose either

SUMAK TOPPING...

  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 tsp SUMAK BLEND

 

... or CHILLI TOPPING...

  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (white wine or cider vinegar is best)
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 tsp BIBER BLEND
  • 1 tsp KAMMUN BLEND
