Saag gosht is a slow-cooked lamb and spinach curry from Northern India. It has a sweet, deep flavour, given a lift with a generous amount of METHI BLEND added just before serving.

A great curry that the whole family will enjoy, especially on a cold winter’s night.

  • 500g diced lamb 
  • 1 red onion - ½ sliced, ½ roughly chopped 
  • 2 tomatoes - roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic - roughly chopped 
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 25g butter 
  • 100g natural yogurt (full fat is best)
  • 200g spinach (fresh or frozen)
