Bangladeshi Khichuri

Khichuri is the Bangladeshi version of what’s essentially a simple rice and lentil dish - around the world it’s been adapted to different tastes as Indian khichdi (where the dish originates), Egyptian koshari and British kedgeree.

The recipe possibilities are endless and it can easily be made into a warming one pot meal with the addition of mixed chopped veg!
