Corn tortillas are made fresh daily in Mexico and are the basis of almost all meals, having been a staple food there for centuries. You'll need to get hold of some masa harina (Mexican maize flour) to make these but you'll be rewarded with far more authentic and delicious tortillas than those available in supermarkets.
