This month we're putting a special Curry Legend twist on that favourite Middle Eastern dip: hummus! Chickpeas are often eaten in India as chana masala - cooked with onions, garlic, ginger and tomatoes - and here we're using that same combination of flavours to add a completely new dimension to this simple dish.

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Fresh ginger
  • 10g bunch of coriander (optional)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • 60g tahini or use nut butter (with no added salt or sugar)
