La Jiao is the Chinese name for ‘hot pepper’, and this is the mix that adds all of the colour as well as a significant punch of heat to our Noodle Legend recipes! In our LA JIAO BLEND we’re using 3 types of Chinese chillies: Facing Heaven chillies, Chaotian chillies and Sichuan chillies. We’ve also added a few Korean gochugaru chilli flakes in this blend for their rich, sweet flavour and incredible colour, a pinch of sweet smoked paprika to add a subtle smoky, savoury character, and a few Chinese red pepper flakes for sweetness.
