Pambazos

Tortas (sandwiches) are massively popular in Mexico, and the pambazo is a particular favourite. The bread roll is soaked in salsa, then fried and stuffed with mayonnaise, spicy meat or vegetables and finally topped with crunchy raw salad for texture - you'll never want to eat a plain old cheese sandwich again!

  • 1 tomato - roughly chopped

  • Mayonnaise or sour cream to serve

  • 1 x RAW SALSA or PICKLE (p156-164) to serve
