Pumpkin & Feta Dip

What to do with that huge pumpkin is often a dilemma at this time of year(!), but here we're making a delicious pumpkin dip with some feta cheese and the Mezze Legend spices. The sweet flavour of the pumpkin is complimented with the salty feta and a squeeze of lemon to make a really easy snack or starter with some salad and toasted pittas on the side.

  • ½ a pumpkin or 1 small squash (about 600g prepared weight) - peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 4 cloves of garlic - roughly chopped
  • ½ lemon
  • 100g feta cheese - crumbled
  • 75ml good quality olive oil plus extra to serve
  • Pitta breads to serve
