This classic American dish originated in Louisiana during Spanish rule, and it’s easy to see how it might have started off life as a local version of Valencian paella. Over time, ingredients from the Caribbean and Latin America crept in and here we're using the Taco Legend blends to add heat, colour and flavour!

  • 100g chorizo or smoked sausage
  • 150g prawns (any type) (optional)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • 2 peppers (any colour)
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 300g long grain or basmati rice
