  • 2 onions - 1 ½ finely chopped, ½ thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 3 chillies (any colour) - roughly chopped (seeds removed if you prefer less heat)
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
