Fabulous flavours in every mouthful! I followed the recipe to the letyer(as I am not a good cook) and my family were bowled over by the taste. The lot was very easy to follow, gave easy step by step instructions and packed a punch with the level of spice. It was one of the best meals that I have ever tasted! My family want more and with the alternative spice information on the kit I can do just that!

It sounds to us like you ARE in fact a good cook! :) We're so pleased to hear that our blends and recipes have given you the confidence to whip up some fantastic food, and that this Beef Rendang in particular went down a storm!

Beef Rendang with braised veg, green bean poriyal and beetroot pachadi. So pleased with this meal. The cabbage, beans and beetroot all came from my allotment. The spicery made my home grown veg taste yummy and the perfect compliment to scrumpcious beef rendang. Thank you team spicery you made Friday Tastyday yet again.

When our Hogmanay celebration was bring an “Asian influenced” dish affair - I knew I had to go spicery. The beef Rendang and a spring veg Penang went down a storm with the group!

Enjoyed this curry which reminded me of a wet Keralan Beef Fry that I had whist in Kerala. Made a nice change to the usual curries we have.

My most recent purchase is the Curry Legend World Curry book, there are so many recipes to choose from but I eventually settled on Beef Rendang. I was certainly not disappointed, so rich in flavour and ideal for cooking outdoors on the BBQ.

Simply amazing, I have been cooking curries for over 30 years, got the kit as a birthday present and thought what the hell, its worth a try - I was worried half way through as it didnt have the brown colour you see in the photo or in the book but stuck to the instructions and around 10 minutes before it was due to finish cooking it started turning that rich delicious colour. The taste is simply amazing, the look is that of a 5 star Indian. Totally blown away and cant wait to cook something else.
