Celery seeds are not widely used in many domestic kitchens but are a crucial ingredient in many commercial mixes. The deeply herbal, celery flavour adds a really savoury and unobtrusive flavour to virtually any dish.
Uses

Add celery seeds to bread dough or savoury pastry or biscuits. Use to flavour a soup or toast slightly and add to a salad. Crush and use to flavour a dressing. Wonderful added to a potato salad.
