Greens with Oyster Sauce

Simply cooked leafy green vegetables are some of the most important but often overlooked dishes of Chinese cuisine (particularly in the Southern states), and this version with a rich, sweet and savoury sauce is a real favourite. Here we're flavouring the oyster sauce dressing with fresh garlic, ginger and our sweet-scented BADIAN BLEND for extra flavour and fragrance.

Shopping List

  • 300g approx. greens (eg tenderstem broccoli, spring greens, pak choi etc) - cut into bite-size pieces if large
  • 1 clove of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped or grated to make 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp sesame oil or use sunflower or vegetable oil
