Description

These special kofta containing dried fruit, nuts and fried onions are cooked in Pakistan and influenced by decadent Moghul cuisine. Here they’re simmered in a rich tomato sauce before being topped with more crispy fried onions to serve, making them a really special Curry Legend treat!

  • 500g lamb mince (higher fat content is best)
  • 2 onions - thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 75g natural yogurt (full fat is best)
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 50g raisins
  • 40g mixed nuts (almonds and pistachios are best)
