  • 2 large chicken breasts or boneless skinless thighs (approx. 500g total weight) - butterflied or flattened slightly with a rolling pin to be a fairly even thickness
  • 1 clove of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • Fresh ginger - finely grated or chopped to make 2 tsp
  • 2 lemons - 1 zested, then both halved for juicing
  • 1 egg (any size) - beaten
  • 50g sugar
  • 75g breadcrumbs
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 stock cube (chicken or vegetable)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
