Mixed Veg in Garlic Sauce

This simple stir-fry dish is an ideal accompaniment to any Noodle Legend main course as the mild, gentle flavours won't overwhelm anything you pair it with. In fact, it's a good one to bear in mind as a side dish for all sorts of different meals and you can use pretty much any mix of vegetables you have to hand.

Shopping List

  • 500g mix of crunchy vegetables (any fresh veg such as Chinese leaf cabbage, broccoli, pak choi, carrots, mushrooms etc, or frozen mixed veg is ideal for this!) - peeled if necessary and cut into bite-size pieces if large
  • 4 cloves of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • 2 tsp cornflour or plain flour
  • ½ stock cube (chicken or vegetable) (optional)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
