Sesame oil and sesame seeds (in our ZHIMA BLEND) are combined here with soy sauce to make a simple dressing for steamed greens. The flavours of many Chinese restaurant main course dishes can be very savoury and often have a high proportion of meat, so a plate of simply dressed green vegetables is always welcome!

  • 300g approx. greens (eg spring greens, pak choi, tenderstem broccoli etc) - cut into large bite-size pieces
  • 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce (any type)
  • 1 tsp vinegar (rice, white wine or cider vinegar is best)
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
