Spring Rolls

Making your own spring rolls is an extremely satisfying activity, and you can customise this simple recipe to include all kinds of different ingredients - thinly sliced mushrooms, leeks, cabbage, shredded duck or pork all work very well. These spring rolls are easy to fry in a pan, but you can also get very good results in the oven or air fryer (just turn regularly, brushing with oil each time).

Wowsers. Inspired by the Taco club recipe for apple and caramel nachos, we took the versatility of spring rolls to the extreme .... and it worked wonderfully. We used lightly stewed and strained dessert apples for our filling which we sprinkled with a generous pinch of Badian Blend. We then served these little beauties with ice cream and a drizzle of golden syrup. We loved it. Thank you guys. Experimenting with our spicery blends could become a fabulous, creative pass time in itself.
