Shopping List

  • 500g spring veg (eg asparagus, mangetout, beans, purple sprouting broccoli) - cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 medium onion - finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes - roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
  • 2 red chillies - halved lengthways (seeds removed if you prefer less heat)
  • ½ lemon
  • 40g butter
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp sugar
