Stir-Fried Greens

Leafy green vegetables are an important part of any Chinese meal, and this simple stir-fry can be made with anything from easily available cabbage, pak choi or broccoli, to choi sum, gai lan or water spinach (if you can find them in a Chinese supermarket!).

  • 300g approx. greens (eg tenderstem broccoli, Chinese leaf cabbage, pak choi etc) - cut into bite-size pieces if large
  • 2 cloves of garlic - roughly chopped
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
