Stir-Fried Mixed Veg

This is a very flexible recipe that you can use for pretty much any mix of vegetables you have to hand. Having said that, if you happen to have any very hard vegetables like carrots or squash as well as some soft leafy vegetables like spinach, you may need to cut the pieces smaller or add them before the leafy vegetables so they're cooked through at the same time!

Shopping List

  • 500g approx. mixed stir-fry veg (use a packet of pre-prepared veg or use the equivalent weight of thinly sliced peppers, carrots, cabbage, beansprouts, mushrooms etc)
  • 1 clove of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • Fresh ginger - finely grated or chopped to make 1 tsp
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (any type)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce or use an extra 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

LA JIAO BLEND: ⅛ tsp

MA LA BLEND: tsp

ZHIMA BLEND: 2 tsp
