Taco Legend Spag Bol

This month we’re giving an old family favourite a Taco Legend refresh, with a Mexican-flavoured spaghetti bolognese! The mince is cooked in a tomato salsa flavoured with ANCHO, CANELA and CHIPOTLE BLEND, plus there’s some smoky and spicy breadcrumbs (called pangrattato in Italy - 'poor man’s parmesan'!) to sprinkle on top.

  • 500g beef or pork mince or use vegan mince for a veg/vegan version
  • 100g chorizo or use vegan chorizo or sausages for a veg/vegan version
  • 10g bunch of coriander (optional)
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 400g tin of tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (white wine or cider vinegar is best)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 large tortilla
  • 200g spaghetti
  • Sour cream and grated cheddar to serve or use vegan alternatives
