Tomato Rasam

Rasam is a light and tangy South Indian lentil soup that often has a slightly hot flavour from pepper or chilli, as well as sourness from lemon, kokum or as here with fresh tomatoes. It makes a lovely summer meal with some green veg, rice and a cooling raita on the side.
