Za’atar is a delicious seasoning used throughout the Middle East containing thyme, sesame seeds and plenty of sumac (a tangy ground dried berry). It makes a great dry seasoning for chicken or lamb.
Great with toasted pitta breads dipped in oil and then the seasoning or sprinkled over grilled vegetable, chicken or lamb.
1 tbsp refill = approx 7 grams
4 tbsp refill = approx 28 grams (fits standard supermarket spice jar)
8 tbsp refill = approx 56 grams (fits Spicery stackable tins)
