Chicken Chaat

The word 'chaat' describes a family of snack foods served as a starter or street food in India and South Asia, and derives from the Hindi word 'cāṭnā' meaning to lick, as in to lick one's fingers while eating! There are endless varieties, usually with a spicy, sweet and sour flavour profile, and this version with chicken (or paneer) is coated in a tangy sauce with a fresh green salad - it goes great with pooris or poppadoms on the side!
